LAST DAYS OF THE PARADE

It is the last week of the Utah Valley Parade of Homes. We have three homes in the parade that turned out amazing. We hope you are able to go and check them out. Here are a few snap shots for those of you who haven't already gone.

Garden Escape

It's that time of year where we're planting our gardens and working out in our yards. Throughout the Summer we watch them blossom and grow, and I always find myself wishing that we could have that same beautiful garden feeling in our homes. Well, with a few small elements you can really get that enchanted garden escape.

One of my most favorite decorating accessories right now is cloche's. They are all sizes of glass domes, and they are so versatile. I have put some small moss rocks and a simple key picture in this one to give a really natural feeling. Then, when the other holidays come around, you can switch it out for some ornaments for Christmas or actually even put it out in your yard for a small fern to grow in.

The stone texture is really big right now and brings out that garden appeal. These small lanterns would be fabulous hung from a tree in your garden or on your sofa table with stacked books.

These great little boxes have a small chalkboard side for organizational purposes or simply to write what plants you have in them.

Spring Time Touch-ups

Hello-  My name is Chelsea Kasch and I am the Showroom Designer at the Orem store. I am in charge of all the furniture that gets put onto the showroom floor and all that goes into making it look amazing for you! 

There are so many things to consider when you're buying furniture and decorating your home. I am here to answer any questions you might have along with other design associates on our floor. I will be giving updates on what's new in our stores, what is happening at the stores that day, and decorating advice to guide you in your home decor. 

Spring has sprung and I know all of you are wanting to brighten up your house for this season. There are so many simple ways to lighten it up and give a fresh new look. One of my favorite ways is by adding a painted piece of furniture. We have several on our floor. They give such a fresh look while they blend with  so many different styles.

Accessories are a huge part of freshening up your home. They can be an inexpensive way to give a new look that is easy to switch out with each season.  Changing runners, pillows, and throws for lighter colors that still go with the rest of your home is a simple way to achieve a new look. For example, if you have chenille pillows and large woven throws on your sofa, switch them for some linen and maybe a cotton throw in a light color. These small changes can really brighten up your home.

This week we'll be doing alot of rearranging at the two stores. We have a few new beds coming on the floor that are a lighter color wood great for that spring brightening we were talking about!
